Southern African Trade and Connectivity Project (Malawi)

- The Government of the Republic of Malawi has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of: Supply, Delivery and Installation of ICT Equipment of Data centers for the MBS/DARS/DAHLD
- The Ministry of Transport and Public Works now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of: Supply, Delivery and Installation of ICT Equipment of Data for the MBS/DARS/DHLD

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Transport and Public Works, The Project Manager, email: procurement@satcp.mw and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e. 09:30 to 15:30 hoursat the address given below.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Twenty Thousand Malawi Kwacha (MK20,000) or equivalent in a freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be direct deposit or transfer to a designated project account number Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity at Reserve Bank of Malawi. Account Number 0013000870038 The document will be sent by physical/courier or electronic mail bidders will be responsible for shipping by courier
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14th March 2025 at 10.00am. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids shall be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 14th March, 2025at 10.00am.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
