The primary objective of this assignment is to review Malawi's National Trade Facilitation Action Plan and develop an updated Action Plan that aligns with national development goals, international best practices and standards, and new developments in the trade facilitation arena including the implementation of the AfCFTA and Tripartite Agreements

The primary objective of this assignment is to develop a comprehensive and robust regulatory framework for the honey industry in Malawi. This framework should encompass all stages of the honey value chain, from beekeeping practices to the final product, ensuring that it meets the highest quality and safety standards.

The Government of Malawi (GoM) through the Ministry of Transport and Public Works MoTPW has applied for financing toward the cost of the Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity Project (SATCP). The MoTPW intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under the contract for hiring a Senior Specialist for Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
