Nacala Development Corridor Tripartite Committee (NDCTC)

The governments of Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia formed the Nacala Development Corridor Tripartite Committee (NDCTC) to strengthen corridor operations and foster regional development through its organs at the Ministerial, PS/Director and technical expert levels.

The Governments of Malawi and Mozambique requested the World Bank Group’s support to support activities under this project, however Zambia is not accessing the support although it has activities to implement under this project.

National Trade Facilitation Sub-Committees

The NTFC is a 20-member body comprising public, private and civil society institutions related to trade facilitation. It is split into the following sub-committees.

  1. Cross Border Traders Sub-Committee
  2. Customs Business Procedures Management Sub-committee
  3. One Stop Border Post Subcommittee
  4. E-Trade Systems Sub-committee
  5. Transport and Corridor Development Management Sub-committee
The Corridor Transport Development Management Committee (CTDMC)

EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR SATCP MATCHING GRANTS

We are aware of the technical issues some of you experienced while attempting to access the SATCP Matching Grants Program website and its resources. These challenges, particularly those affecting access and loading times, were due to an unusual spike in traffic, largely caused by many applicants waiting until the final day to submit their applications.

In light of these difficulties, we are pleased to inform you that the deadline for submitting applications has been extended to Wednesday, 29th January 2025, at 23:59 hours.

However, we strongly urge all potential applicants not to wait until the last minute to submit their applications. Submitting early will help you avoid any potential technical issues and ensure a smoother application process.
